C'è sempre un lato oscuro in tutte le cose, un rovescio della medaglia che non sempre è visibile ai più.
Milano è funzionale e ricca di opportunità, ma fredda e severa.
Roma è bellissima..ma il traffico è impossibile.
Napoli è solare e chiacchierona, ma l'immondizia è una piaga.
Palermo.."aaahhh a Palermo si mangia divinamente"...eh ma c'è il pizzo da pagare.
La Romagna invece è imbattibile in quanto ad ospitalità, "peccato solo per il mare", il mare è tremendo.
Dovremmo tutti prendere esempio da Singapore! "Che città futuristica, tutto pulito, ordinato, perfetto", già!...pensa però che chi infrange la legge viene frustato a sangue come nel Medioevo...
Bali sì! Bali è l'isola che non c'è! "Beata te che vivi a Bali!"
Eh sì...poi però la Monkey Forest l'andiamo a visitare, ma le favelas quelle sono solo in Brasile vero?!?
Ho avuto per 3 settimane l'acqua della doccia che puzzava...stavo dando di matto..
Poi un giorno sono capitata in una zona di Bali, alla periferia di Dempasar, la Capitale, adulti e bambini si lavavano e giocavano nell'acqua fetida e marrone del fiume ai cui margini si erige imponente una vera e propria baraccopoli..
Le stesse case che ho visto in Brasile, la stessa povertà che ho visto nelle periferie americane, gli stessi bambini nudi che a Nairobi giocavano sui cumuli di immondizia, lo stesso lato oscuro della stessa medaglia.
Il paradiso in terra non esiste, il luogo perfetto non esiste, la realtà ha sempre due facce, quella che vogliamo vedere e vivere e quella che non ci appartiene e che ignoriamo.
Involontariamente e volontariamente siamo artefici e vittime dell'una e dell'altra.
Privilegiati ed eternamente scontenti.
